The Process Cycle
The typical Process starts with a no-cost initial meeting.[NOTE: We always execute a strict non-disclosure
agreement before the meeting commences]
This is when we listen to ideas and view sketches,
models, etc. This first meeting allows PGI to evaluate its possible role in the development of the concept.
If we feel we can help, we rapidly, usually within a week, submit a fixed-price written proposal for the project’s
development phase.
The proposal defines: the scope of the project; the deliverables; the fee schedule and includes a timing estimate.
Generally speaking, the goods and services outlined in the proposal include:
The client, inventor, is kept in-the-loop at every stage of the project. PGI expects the clients to provide
feedback and to approve the each step of plan. Included in the base proposal is the offer to work with your
patent attorney or a firm we know is right for you. We will meet with you and your lawyer to provide an overview of
prior art,and offer drawings and description of the invention.
Our proposals commonly include the offer to produce sub- and mass- production quantities of the new product
we helped bring to prototype stage..
As expected most manufacturers love large orders and offer volume pricing -- a manufacturer of 10,000 frying pans
is easy to find. Finding a shop that is willing to manufacture 10 to 100 frying pans at an acceptable cost is
a very difficult.
And a client may only need 10 items at this point in the product development. A client doesn’t need 10,000 for
concept and new product focus groups or for a regional market study. To address this issue: PGI has cultivated

(manufactures and other fabricators) over the many years we've been in business. Because we've developed ideas that
utilize an entire spectrum of manufacturing technologies,
we are confident that we can offer our clients an excellent set of possible producers so that a client
can secure any number of products at a truly at an exceptionally reasonable cost.
